INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL POWER STEERING OIL PRESSURE SENSOR

(a) Install a new O-ring to the power steering oil pressure sensor.

(b) Apply a light coat of power steering fluid to the O-ring of the power steering oil pressure sensor.

(c) Using a 24 mm deep socket wrench, install the power steering oil pressure sensor.

Torque: 21 N·m (210 kgf·cm, 16 ft·lbf)

NOTICE:

  • Do not allow foreign matter to contact the oil seal face of the power steering oil pressure sensor (connecting surface with pressure feed tube).
  • Be careful not to damage the O-ring when installing the power steering oil pressure sensor.

(d) Connect the power steering oil pressure sensor connector.

2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY 2UZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL: THROTTLE BODY: INSTALLATION (2008 Sequoia)+

3. INSTALL THROTTLE BODY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 2UZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL: THROTTLE BODY: INSTALLATION (2008 Sequoia)+

4. ADD POWER STEERING FLUID

5. BLEED POWER STEERING FLUID POWER ASSIST SYSTEMS: POWER STEERING SYSTEM: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION (2008 Sequoia)+

6. INSPECT FOR POWER STEERING FLUID LEAK
